READ YOUR INGREDIENTS IN YOUR BEAUTY PRODUCTS
I know we all want to look pretty, smell pretty and stay young forever but, I can’t seem to stress this enough, so let me remind you. Your skin soaks in about 60% of the crap you put on it. What does that mean to you now? Maybe nothing. But, I can guarantee that it will mean something to you when you it’s too late. Just because you can’t see what is going on, doesn’t mean there is nothing happening. Is it worth the risk to your health or your future?
When you are applying lotions, creams, or washing with a basic soap, read the ingredients. If you see anything that starts with propyl, ethyl, methyl, butyl, try to avoid it, as it easily penetrates the skin and has been found in breast tissue. Just like your pretty smelling soaps, lotions and creams that are filled with synthetic fragrances, sorry to burst your bubble on those, but they have been found in mother’s milk.
I know you can’t read every ingredient on everything and a lot of it is so misleading. Just because it says natural doesn’t mean it truly is. The only way you can find out if a product is toxic, is to do your own research. If you don’t understand the ingredient, look it up and only choose legit sites.
